A measuring system for complex workpieces based on image measuring technology

A two-dimensional measurement system for complex workpieces based on image measurement technology is designed in view of a strong reflection surface and complicated shape of complex workieces.The improved algorithm of sub-pixel edge location is used to locate the edge points exactly based on gray moment.The circle points and lines are fitted by these edge points and the dimension parameters are figured out finally.The measuring error is less than 0.03mm and the repeatability error is ±4.5 μm.Experiment results show that the system is real-time,non-contact,ligh-speed,high-precision and strong anti-jamming,which can meet the need of dimension detection of complex workpieces.
