STUDY OF RAMP SKI JUMP TAKE OFF DYNAMIC CHARACTERISTICS

The paper studies dynamic problems of aircraft ramp ski jump take off from carrier, and establishes completed flight dynamics equations which include deck movements (longitudinal pitch and heave) and gear stroke motions. The paper also analyses and discusses the effects of carrier motion, gear stroke, engines propulsion, and ramp profile on take off characteristics. Finally, the paper presents at theoretical computing approach to feasibility of aircraft ramp ski jump take off.
