Preparation of nano-catalyst of LaCeCuMn rare earth oxides on γ-Al_2O_3 and its catalytic activity

A series of rare-earth oxides La_xCe_(1-x)CuMn/γ-Al_2O_3 supported catalysts were prepared by impregnation methods.Taking CO and C_3H_8 oxidation as a probe reaction,the different x values and active component loadings on the catalyst for CO and C_3H_8 oxidation were investigated.The experimental results demonstrate that the catalysts(x=0.4 and amount of active component=15.04%) have a lower light-off temperature,and the CO and C_3H_8 conversion is above 99%.These catalysts were characterized by means of XRD,TEM and BET techniques to verify the species present in the catalysts.The results show that this catalyst has a high surface area,and the size of the active component is much smaller than nanoscale,and is highly dispersed on the nano-fibrous γ-Al_2O_3.
