Sorption behavior of Ag(Ⅰ) on diglycolamidic acid resin

The adsorption behavior of Ag(Ⅰ) on diglycolamidic acid resin(D401) has been investigated.The effects of pH,temperature and retention time on the adsorption process were also examined.D401 has a good adsorptivity for Ag(Ⅰ) in an HAcNaAc medium at pH 5.6.The static saturated adsorption capacity is 296?mg/g resin at 298?K.The apparent adsorption rate constant is k_(298)=1.064×10~(-5)?s~(-1) and the apparent sorption activation energy of D401 for Ag(Ⅰ) is 27.87?kJ/mol.The adsorption behavior of Ag(Ⅰ) on D401 obeys the Freundlich isotherm and the coordination ratio of the functional groups of D401 and Ag(Ⅰ) is 1∶1.The desorption process of Ag(Ⅰ) from the impregnated resin has also been studied.
