Analyzing the Interactive Relationship in English Political Speech

Speaking is an interactive activity between the speakers and the audience.By employing different means,the speakers interact with the audience explicitly or implicitly to realize their aims.Through the study of ten pieces of English political speech from the perspective of systemic functional linguistics,it is found that the different choices of mood and personal pronouns,which are the effective means to realize the interaction,help the speakers establish and maintain different relationships with the audience.
