Stray Light Calculation of Space Remote Sensors
Li Dexiong Yan Dayuan (Department of Optical Engineering, Beijing Institute of Technology, Beijing 100081)
A stray radiation calculation program for space remote sensors is described. The program is ideally suited for quick estimates of stray light performance in well-baffled optical systems. Only three main scattered radiation paths are calculated for each incident angle, but the main mirror and baffle surfaces are divided into sections in calculation for improving the accuracy of estimation. The predictions made by the program for two typical systems compare favorably with the results of larger analysis programs.
