Study on Parameterization of 2D Graphics

A new approach to parameterizing 2D graphics is proposed. The approach constructs a parameterized model-based characteristic points for resolving process on the basis of automatic extracting information about topologic structure and refers among the dimensions of the graphics, then provides a instancing procedure of the model. The approach only depends on the topologic and geometrical information of the graphics but is irrelevant to the drawing procedure, and can be applicable to any 2D graphics. The computer software system-Auto-PGS based on this method has been applied to industry.
