Physical process of the effect of Locust artificial forest on the rainfall and the rules of water and soil losses under storm condition were analysed quantitatively and qualitatively. Raindrop kinetic energy per unit rainfall volume both of storm in the open field and canopy were calculated; distribution parameters of raindrop size were measured; models of rainfall amount in the form of stemflow and the interceptionby crown were established; EbI10-the complex index of rainfall erosi-vity were given.
