A Study of the Runoff Characteristics of Cunninghamia lanceoiata Forest Watershed

The runoff characteristics of Cunninghamia lanceoiata forest watershed was studied with the method of Standard Watershed Experiment, The analysis of 10 larger storm hydrographs based on the method given by Hewlett and Hibbert (l967)reveal that this forest watershed' Re is relatively large, and the benefit of water conservation is relativel large, and the benefit of water conservation is not obvious as expected; the reason is that the vegetation is not in full growth and is destroiec seriously. The runoff characteristics were divided into two types. Rainfall runoff model is established. It will be used one day in forecasting rainfall runoff discharge and calculating the limiting precipitation whicl determine the discharge differences between different watersheds.
