A Study of the Factors Influencing Cutting Survival Rate in Chinese Junipers (Sabina vulgaris Antoine)
Zheng Junbao Yu li (Hebei Forestry College,Baoding) Zhang Qi (Division Office of Yutian County)
The authors compared the effects of growth regulators, cutting bed condition, cutting dates and cutting's bearing tree's age, with shoot cutting survival rates of Chinese junipers. Studying these factors, we prepared a multilinear regression equation, and found the actions of every independent variable in the equation. In the northern area of China, under the optimum rooting conditions the rooting rate can reach eighty five percent.
