## Application of Ridge Regression Analysis in Making Mathematical Models for Soil Erosion

Regression analysis is a method that is used to reseachrelationships among random variables. Classic regression analysis, which is widely used in forestry science research and production, omits the interrelation of facts with independent variables. So we adopted ridge regression analysis to reveal the interrelationships among facts of independent variables. This method is worthy of further use and study. We introduced this concept of ridge regression analysis to demonstrate its advantages, choice of x value and applications in making a mathematical model for soil erosion
