Study on the gene conserved stand of Pinus tabulaeformis in Taiyue Mountain(Ⅰ) ——study on the stands composition and structure.

Based on the field investigation data about the gene conserved stand of Pinus tabulaeformis in Taiyue Mountain of Shanxi, it's composition and structure have been analysized preliminarily. The plant species at the investigation spot are abundant,among which the woody plant species occupy about 15.5?% the of Taiyue forest region;the dead trees are mainly small logs. The gene conserved stand of Pinus tabulaeformis was formed by age of 60~70 ,and is secondary stand in comparatively the same age range after disruption. About 40~50 years, a small disruption has been taken place.Because of the high density , the shape ration (H/D) of Pinus tabulaeformis is slighely higher than the normal. In the reqenation layer, the seedlings of Pinus tabulaeformis concentrate in the gap,while the seedllings of Quercus liaotunensis are well distributed in the standard spot,but can not develop into the reqeneration layer.From mentions above,it is concluded that at the seedling stage,the requirement of these two kinds of tree to light are different,the seedlings of \%Pinus tabulaeformis\% are affinite to light, while the seedlings of Quercus liaotunensis endure shade better,but need enough light after certain ages, which is one of the reasons that there are no mature trees of Quercus liaotunensis at the investigation spots.
