NPS models application in soil erosion simulating.

Eight NPS (non point sources) models are described in this paper which include RUSLE, WEPP, and EPIC using for soil loss prediction, and SHE, CREAMS, and ANSWERS for watershed hydrological simulation, and SWAT and AGNPS for assessment of BMPs effects on watershed. All the models involving in the paper have a wide and successful application in the study of soil erosion especially in US and European countries. The development trends are also summarized for the relative research work. They cover the integration with GIS, the application in the buffer, wetland hydrology, and BMPs assessments.
