A Study on Leaf Growth Course of a Larix principis-rupprechtii Plantation

The leaf growth course of a Larix plantation located in North China lasts from the last ten days of April to the first ten days of June. In this period, growth courses of the leaf length(L),the leaf area(A)and the leaf biomass(W)can be described by Logistic equation as follows:L=2.4603/(1+13.8468exp(-0.150 2t)),r=0.9942;A=0.2275/(1+17.8378exp(-0.165 1t)),r=0.9954: W=0.7996/ (1+14.618 7exp(-0.130 2t)),r=0.993 5. The growth course of the leaf width(B)can be described by Michaelis-Menten equation:B=0.098 0t/(1.139 4+t),r=0.961 9. where,t is the time (days).
