The Regularity of Water Consumption of Black Locust and Chinese Pine on Loess Slope in Southwestern of Shanxi Province

Bowen ratio energy balance methods and water balance methods,the study obtains the regularity of water consumption of black locust and Chinese pine.The percentages of crown evaporation,soil evaporation and transpiration to total water consumption in foersts,respectively,170~28.2%,13.2~22.8%, 57.7~60. 2%.Transpiration to the total water consumption is 80% in summer (June,July,Augest).Water consumption is different in different stands.The regularity is that water consumption amount of northward slopes is more than that in southward slopes.Water consumption in highdensity stands is higher than that in lowdensity stands in case the other conditions are the same.
