Design of a Digital Hospital Management System (HRPS)

The HRPS integrates HIS, RIS, PACS with Internet technology, which provides complete solutions for digital hospital management system. The system is designed with modularized structure, where HIS includes HIS, RIS, PACS server, management terminals and clinic terminals; RIS consists of image equipments, PACS and image network center. Its hardware structure uses Web multi layers system structure Browse/Server mode, network using ATM technology, DICOM3 0 Information Exchange Standard, SQL Server 6 5/7 0 sever, Oracle database software, and PowerBuilder 6 5 development language. The HRPS can implement system function, management function, information processing function and communication function on a single complete platform. It has features of being able to be shared, secure, open, extendable, and so on. At present, this system is used successfully in more than 40 hospitals. It makes modern hospital management come true, which is digital, networkized, and filmfree.
