Research for the effect of sleep deprivation on the memory base on EEG coherence

Sleep deprivation is an effective way to study the function of sleep on brain cognition.This paper studied the EEG coherence during an audio shortterm memory test under 24 hours sleep deprived and normal state.Results showed that the center of the activation in brain was changed and the restrain of the activation extent after sleep deprivation.To some extent this study revealed the damage of the sleep deprivation on the audio shortterm memory,and gave a new way to evaluate the effect of sleep deprivation.
