Education Finance Equity in Chinese Compulsory Education——An empirical study on data analysis on regular primary schools in Zhejiang

Education equity is the extension of social equity over into the education domain;it is an important means and way for achieving social equity.But the Chinese education and education policies have not experienced enough empirical study with data analysis.With this aim in mind,the authors of the present paper take a new measurement methodology and utilize the 2005--2006 data on the regular compulsory primary schools in Zhejiang province,the result of which shows that the fi- nancial reform of compulsory education there has promoted the horizontal equity,but the aim of vertical equity,namely,the free of charge for course books,has not been realized yet.Therefore,the provincial administrative department should lay weight on it,and at the same time adjust allowance proportionality for the boarding students.
