Numerical Solution of Heat and Mass Transfer Mathematical Model for Adsorbent Bed in Adsorption Refrigeration System

Adsorbent bed is the core component of adsorption refrigeration system,its heat and mass transfer performance has a direct influence on the refrigerating capacity of the system.In order to investigate the heat and mass transfer properties of the adsorption bed,a one-dimensional mathematical model of adsorption bed is established for the second class boundary conditions, and governing equations in the mathematical model are dispersed with the format.The model and results are helpful to reveal heat and mass transfer characters of the adsorbent bed and to provide theoretical basis for optimal design of this system.
