Medical Image Segmentation Based on Level Set Method

Level set method can deal with the change of curve's topological structure,but its calculation load is huge.For this case,Level set method combined with fast marching method is presented to segment medical image. This method solves the problem of low efficiency of level set method and oversegmentation of fast marching method.It can improve the efficiency of segmentation,which also retains an ideal effect.This method has been successfully used to segment the CT image of skull bone and liver,and the effect of segmentation is good.
