Research on Problems and Countermeasures in College English Hierarchical Teaching Practice

Under the background of the new-round national college English teaching reform which at-taches importance to the development of ability and application,hierarchical teaching model in college Eng-lish teaching has gained wide attention with both achievements and problems in such aspects as criteria andbasis of grade classification,grading of teaching objectives,teaching contents,teaching management as well asexaminations and evaluations.Therefore,hierarchical teaching needs theory research strength, hierarchical cri-teria improvement,the reasonable objective establishment,a flexible content selection,teaching management im-provement and evaluation system norm, for the actual effect of hierarchical teaching of college English.
