Effects of Exhaustive Exercise on Erythrocyte Immune Function in Mice

The dynamic changes of RBC--C3bR and RBC--IC rosette rates in mice were observed after exhaustive swimming and during recovery. It was found that immediately after exercise the rosette rate of RBC--C3bR remarkably increased compared with that at rest, but the rosette rate of RBC--IC decreased remarkably. During recovery after exercise both indexes trended to be resumed gradually. However, until the 12th hour after exercise the rosette rate of RBC--CZbR was still remarkably lower than that at rest. At the 3rd hour after exercise the rosette rate of RBC--IC was remarkably higher than that at rest. Until the 24th hour after exercise both indexes approached to those at rest. There was negative correlation between the changes of the two indexes after exercise and during the recovery of 24 hours.
