Study on Effect of "Compound Antioxidants" on GSH Anti-oxidant System of Skeletal Musclesin Training Rats after Exercise

In order to explore the effect of "Compound Antioxidants" and exercise training on GSH anti-oxidant system in rats, skeletal muscles, the training rats are fed with "Compound Antioxidants". The result shows: the GSH-PX activity and GSH content of Training Control Group, Supplementation Group in skeletal muscle are all much higher compared with Control Group in rest state(P0.05),the GSH content are all much higher compared with Control Group at the immediate ends of the fixed load and the immediate ends of exhaustive exercise(P0.05) and the GST activity are all much higher compared with Control Group at the immediate ends of exhaustive exercise (P0.05). It suggests that "Compound Antioxidants" and exercise training exactly have the action of promoting GSH anti-oxidant system in rats, skeletal muscles and antioxidative capability.
