Effects of Invigorating Spleen and Supplying Saccharide on Overtrained Rats' Skeletal Muscle GLUT4 and P38 Activity

The study focuses on how invigorating the spleen and supplying saccharide affect glucose transport in the skeletal muscle and P38 activity in MAPK signal transduction system of overtrained rats.All groups of rats are trained by increasing load of swimming for 6 weeks,and to observe effects of invigorating spleen and supplying saccharide on function of the stomach and intestine,glucose transport and storage in the skeletal muscle and P38 activity.It draws a conclusion that 1)Rats of spleen asthenia sports fatigue activates the P38 pathways in MAPK signal transduction passageway in the skeletal muscle.Meanwhile,hypoglycemia and insulin suppress glucose transport and storage in the skeletal muscle.So it is not very significant in the muscle glycogen store increase.2)Training with invigorating spleen and supplying saccharine may lead to improve stomach and intestine,intake augmentation of energy source substrates,and enhance saccharide oxidation capability in the multi-target.Besides,it plays an important part in the P38 pathways in the MAPK signal transduction system,which may speed up glucose transport and synthesis in the skeletal muscle,and result in the over-recovery of muscle glycogen.
