A Preliminary Study on the Archaeoligical Cultures of Prior Qin in the Xilamulun River Valley

The west Liaohe River Valley played an important role in the process of the origin of China's civili- zation.As the upper reach of the West Liaohe River,the archaeology begans in the beginning of the 20th centery in Xilamulun River.After 1950s,especially 1980s,overall archaeological work were done,many new cultural relics were found then,the order of the cultures of the Prior Qin Period were established and the pedigree of these cultures were studied.Based on the materials published now,the paper discussed something about the date,pedgree and source of the Cultures of Prior Qin in the Xilamu- Inn River Valley.Perhaps it may help us to do well in the field work in this area for studying the origin of China's civilization.
