LOAD?BEARING CAPACITY ANALYSIS AND DESIGN OF RCBEAM BEARING CONTRARY SIGN MOMENT STRENGTHENED WITH CFRP

Ge Dongxia(East China Architecture Design & Research Academy) Yuan Guoqing(Tongji University)  
In this paper the load-bearing capacity of RC beam ,bearing contrary sign moment strengthened with CFRP, was analyzed by means of strip analysis method. The possible and expected destruction forms of beam section were discussed. The influence on the load-bearing capacity of different strengthening schemes was compared Based on it,the shortcut computing method of the load bearing capacity of the normal section and strengthening design requirements were proposed.
