SYNTHESIS OF 191~# UNSATURATED POLYESTER BY MICROWAVE IRRADIATION

191~# unsaturated polyester is prepared by microwave irradiation.The effects of power and time of microwave irradiation and molar ratio of alcohol to acid on the physical property of polymer products are investigated.The results show that the optimum conditions to prepare 191~#unsaturated polyester are microwave power 390W,irradiation time 24min and molar ratio of alcohol to acid 1.07∶1.00.At the optimum conditions M_w,M_n and their distribution(M_w/M_n) of 191~#unsaturated polyester are 6406,3928 and 1.631 respectively.Furthermore,the reaction rate is raised by more than 20 times and energy consumption reduced considerably.
