EFFECTS OF LIGHTING CONDITIONS ON PROPERTIES OF CASTING AND LAMINATE OF VISIBLE LIGHT CURED VINYL ESTER RESIN

Flexural and tensile properties,glass transition temperature and remaining styrene content of casting and laminates of visible light cured vinyl ester resin under different lighting conditions are studied and compared with those by peroxide curing.Results show that the properties of the resin casting and laminates by visible light curing are equal to peroxide curing if the lighting time and illumination are proper.Furthermore,if the lighting illumination is strong enough,the breaking elongation and glass transition temperature of VLC-760 resin casting will obviously increase.
