CURRENT DEVELOPMENT OF COMPOSITE WIND TURBINE BLADES AND PROPOSALS TO SEVERAL PROBLEMS

The application and production of composites in wind turbine blades were presented in this paper,as well as the structure,material system,manufacturing craft and development trend of wind blades.Proposals or solution ideas were also given to some problems in producing large composite wind turbine blades.It is indicated that large-composite-combined mold with heating equipment,improved VIP craft and recyclable thermoplastic blades would possibly be greatly researched and developed in the following years since the wind turbine blades were becoming larger and larger.
