With the help of sensing and monitoring system, the permeable property of thick-section reinforcements was studied with the radial permeability testing method.By comparing and analyzing different laid-up thickness of glass fiber reinforcements,it is noticed that the permeability is decreasing when thickness of reinforcements increase. The slope of the decreasing is getting smaller with thicker section of the reinforcements.By comparing flow front position of the top and bottom layer of the reinforcements,it is found that the lead-leg difference between the top and bottom layer is increasing when the thickness of reinforcement increases. It is found that the flow front position of the top and botton layer will keep catch up with each other at certain time. The time is getting larger when thickness of reinforcement increases.
