High-frequency Signal Injection for Speed Identification in Speed Sensorless Control System of Asynchronous Motor

Effective speed identification in low speed and standstill area is an important item for speed sensorless control of asynchronous motor. The method of high frequency signal injection provides a good idea of speed identification in low speed and standstill area. The injection of high frequency signal will cause different high frequency effects. With proper filter , we can realize speed identification. This paper introduces the main methods of high-frequency signal injection for speed identification. It is meaningful for the further research and utilization and would promote the application of speed sensorless technology in traction drive area.
