Composition and Microstructure of CaO-Al_2O_3-SiO_2 Glass-Ceramics by Rapid Sintering at Low Temperatures

The CaO-Al_2O_3-SiO_2 glass-ceramics samples obtained by sintering at low temperatures have been analyzed by chemical analysis, XRD, SEM. The results show that dominant crystalline phase is wollastonite (CaSiO_3),and the shape of the wollastonite crystals is neadle-like and their sizes are 0.2-0.3μm,as well as the content of the crystals is within 35%-40%.
