Finite-Elemet Simulation in the Thermal Tempering of Glass Plate

Three dimensional thermal tempering of glass plate has been simulated by using the non-linear FEM.Stress and structural relaxation numerical model for the simulation has been established by using the theory of thermo-viscoelasticity and Narayanaswamy's structural relaxation of glass individually.Temperature and stress distribution and changes of glass plate are obtained,which will be useful for optimum designing and improving products quality.
