Application of Surface Engineering Techniques in the Manufacturing of Moulds

WANG Chang YU Tong-min ZHOU Jin-jin  
Several commonly-used surface engineering techniques for manufacturing of moulds were reviewed, their technical specifications and economics were compared, and the progress of applying rare-earth and nano surface engineering techniques in the manufacturing of moulds was also introduced.
