The Thermodynamic Analysis of Blackening of Steels at Normal Temperature

Li Guobin Guo Quanmei & Li Guiyun (Hebei Institute of Technoloy)  
The blackening of steels at normal temperture has been described. The thermodynamic analysis of chenical reaction of blackening for CuSO4-H2SeO3 system at normal temperature has been carried out in order to show its reaction mechanism. The X-ray diffraction shows that the layer of blackening is mainly composed of CuSe.
