Studies on Room Temperature Blackening System on Steels in the Mixture Solution of Copper Salt and Selenious Acid

Zhou Yufan, Zhang Anfu, Li Guohong (Wuhan Transportation University)  
This paper discussed the mechanism of forming black film of the blackening system at room temperature on steels in the mixture solution of copper salt and selenious acid, and the influence factors for blackening film. The surface appearence and the composition and the crystal characteristic and the phase structure of film have been analysed by means of SEM. electron spectrograph and x-ray. The relation between composition, microstructure, appearance and performance were also discussed.
