Surface Treatment and Development of Magnesium Alloys

LI Ying, YU Gang, LIU Yue long, YE li yuan, GUO Xiao hua (Chemistry and Chemical Engineering College, Hunan University, Changsha 410082,China)  
Surface treatment processes of chemical conversion coatings, anodizing, micro-arc oxidation and electroless plating etc. are reviewed. The tendencies of protection of magnesium alloys are summarized.
