Effect of Processing Parameters of Microarc Oxidation and Sealing Treatment on Corrosion Resistance of Magnesium Alloy

In order to obtain nicer protective film of magnesium alloy and reduce cost,the well-proportioned ceramic coating was gotten by direct current and low tension microarc oxidation technology,using the reducing arc solvent added in silicate system.Then,the coating of some samples was carried on sealing treatment.Corrosion resistance and corrosion behavior of the ceramic coating were researched by microstructure analysis and the experiment of gathering hydrogen in 5% NaCl solution.The results indicat that ceramic coating get more close-grained and has better corrosion resistance when microarc oxidation time is prolonged properly on the basis of the lower ampere density.Sealing treatment using carbonate make the stratum compactum of the coating thickening and densification,which can prolong total noncorrosive time of Mg basal body remarkably and increase erosion-resisting characteristics of the ceramic coating evidently when dipping in NaCl solution for a long time.
