Inhibition Performance of Compound Inhibitor of Imidazoline Phosphate for Q235 Steel

The inhibitive effect against Q235 steel and adsorption behavior of compound inhibitor including imidazoline phosphate and KI was studied in 1 mol/L HCl solution using weight-loss method,polarization curve and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy(EIS) techniques.Results show that the compound inhibitor is mix-type inhibitor which mainly inhibites cathodic process against Q235 steel in 1 mol/L HCl solution.The inhibition efficiency increases with the increasement of inhibitor concentration.It is seen that the adsorption of compound inhibitor on Q235 steel fits the Langmuir isotherm equation.
