Study on the Nutrients of Arable Soil in Haidian District of Beijing

Nutrients of arable soil in Haidian District was analyzed in 2000. Results shoned that soil nutrients content in Haidian was at middle level in general. The mean value of Soil organic matter, Olsen-P and available K were 17.1g/kg, 78.9mg/kg and 144.5mg/kg, respectively. A remarkable difference for soil nutrients content existed among three land use types, which were vegetable field, orchard field and cereal field in sequence. Compared to the results at 1980, the nutrients content in arable soil increased in general.
