Using Rapd Marker to Evaluate The Genetic Relationship Among Genus Lilium

After isolating the DNA of 13 cultivars and 1 native Chinese species fromgenus Lilium,we detected DNA polymorphism by means of RAPD. Every cultivarstudied has its own RAPD bands, and they are totally different from the others.Through the analysis of the data of the bands, we gained some information of thegenetic relationship among the cultivars. From all above, we considered that theRAPD is a powerful tool for distinguishing the cultivars of the Lilium and analysisof the genetic relationship among them.
