Path Analysis of Individual Plant Productivity ofFresh Ears for Ceratina Kulesh

Abstract The traits with individual plant productivity of Cerativa kulesh were investigated using 36 cross combinations of Cerativa kulesh. Based on Correlation analysis of simple, phenotype and genotype analysis, Path diaqram of the individual plant productivity of the fresh ears were estab- lished by the trait correlation and causality. The results showed that numbers of kerners each spike, rate of proclucing kernel, number of kernels each line, ear length, spike size and develoep- ment periods increased were signififcaut to improved the individual plant producfivity of the freshears; the traits such as the kernel weigh/100, plants number/unit area were negative effeet on the individual plant productivity. Direct effect and indirect effect of the traits on the productivity were analysed, which provides reference and bases in inbreeding line development , parent selection , se- lection efficiency increased.
