Analyses on Strain Observation in Directionally Blasting a 100 m-high Chimney

The measurement spots in the relevant parts of supports of a 100 m-high reinforced concrete chimney were laid out to ensure the accuracy of collapse direction and to investigate the stress and strain of ev- ery parts in the course of collapsing the tower reinforced concrete chimney. Series of time-strain data are record- ed when observing the blasting process, thus the stress variation law of the relevant parts of suppurts when the reinforced concrete chimney was blasted can be obtained on the basis of the measured data.
