FLAC~(3D) Simulation for Dynamic Response of Rock Slope under Explosion

The dynamic response of blasting for rock slope is simulated by dynamically analyzing the module of FLAC~(3D) program.A 3-D rock slope model that can reflect its main geological structure is established.The theoretical basis of dynamic analysis by the FLAC~(3D) program is introduced,including setting boundary conditions,inputting dynamic loadings,choosing damping and the physical model of the rock slope.The FLAC~(3D) program is utilized to simulate the dynamic response of the rock slope under explosion.The distributions of stress field,displacement field,velocity field and plastic zones in the rock slope are analyzed after blasting.The simulation results are compared with the site monitoring results.Results shows that the FLAC~(3D) program can be used to simulate the dynamic response of rock slope under explosion effectively.
