Shock Energy Distribution of Column Charge in Rock

The explosion energy of charge in rock is composed of shock wave energy and gaseous expansion energy. The shock wave energy is consumed on forming cavity, crack and elastic deformation. Based on the features of deformation and destruction of rock by shock wave, the distribution of shock wave energy caused by column charge in rock is analyzed and calculated in this paper. The result calculated shows that the shock wave energy consumed makes up about 40% of the total energy of the charge.
