Sensorless Control Method of PMSM Based on Reduced-Order Linear Kalman Filter

A Sensorless control technique of permanent magnent synchronous motor (PMSM)Speed and rotor position estimation based on reduced-order linear Kalman filter(RLKF or LKF)is presented and compared with classic extended Kalman filter(EKF). The comparison shows that proposed RLKF not only inherit all the benefit from classic EKF but also overcome some flows,such as the complex process,applied in digital progress more easily.
