Optimal Control of Three-phase Voltage Source Rectifier

PWM rectifier systems typically use two-loop control method.The inner current loop is a MIMO coupling system.The conventional control method is that the input currents are decoupling and a PI controller is used.This paper presents a linear quadratic regulator(LQR) for the inner current loop control without decoupling.Firstly,the state variables are selected and the state equations are built.Then,a Riccati equation is solved to derive the designed controller.Real-time Control System Based on dSPACE is built.Simulation and experiment results prove the correctness of the control strategy.
