Objective:To investigate the changes of lipid peroxide (LPO) ,superoxide dismutase (SOD) and platelet alpha- granule membrane protein1 40 (GMP- 1 40 ) in patients of acute myocardial infarction (AMI) and unstable angina pectoris (UA) and the significance. Methods:Thirty cases of AMI group,30 cases of UA group and30 normals were observed. The concentrations of LPO,SOD,GMP- 1 40 were dertermined respectively. Results:The cioncentrations of peripheral venous blood LPO,SOD and GMP- 1 40 in AMIgroup and UA group were significantly elevated compared with those of normal subjects.AMI groupUA groupcontrol. The levels of LPO were correlated with SOD in AMIgroup and UA group; LPO was also correlated wtih GMP- 1 40 in both groups. There were no correlations between SOD and GMP- 1 40 in both groups. Conclusion:The imbalance of oxygen free radical and the enhanced platelet function in coronary atherosclerosis are interactive in the pathogenesis of acute myocardial ischemia. 〔
