Study of the effect of Rhodosin on hepatocytic carcinoma

Wang Wei,Guan Gueimei,Jiang Wenhua,et al (Dept.of Histology and Embryology,School of Basic Medical sciences)  
The method of caltured carcinoma of liver cells (7721) and transplanting liver tumor (H 22 ) of mouse was used to observe the effect of Rhodosin and its mechanism in this paper.The results showed that Rhodosin could inhibite the growth and proliferation of carcioma of liver cells,reduce the synthesis of DNA,and increase the content of glycogen in test group.Flow cytometer showed that most of the carcinoma (7721) of liver cells were in G 1 stage and less in S stage while most of carcinoma cells were in S stage in ′control group.These results suggest that Rhodosin has effects on prevention of growth and proliferation of the hepatocytic carcinoma.
