PREPARATION METHOD OF SUPERFINE POWDER OF ZINC OXIDE FROM WASTE CELL

PEI Xiu-zhong(College of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering,Anhui University of Technology,Maanshan 243002,China)  
The superfine powder of zinc hydroxide can be made from waste cell by precipitation from homogeneous solution.Through the optimizing experiments to investigate the reaction factors,the optimum condition was determined as follows: reaction temperature was 60 ℃,time was 60 min,concentration of urea was 5%,pH was 6.5.Under the condition,an average diameter of zinc hydroxide was 4.87 μm.Superfine powder of zinc oxide with an average diameter 8.67 μm could be obtained baking at 400 ℃ for 2 h.
